Trimdon visited B A St Mary’s for a friendly taking 17 players and for most it was their first taste of real football against a team who have had more friendly and tournament experience. All the players had a good time and showed remarkable skills at such a young age. This is the best way forward, by experiencing and learning from these games and eventually forming a team that hopefully can go up through the years and lead to who knows where? More friendly matches will be arranged in the near future.
Thanks to B A St Mary’s management, players and their mum’s and dad’s for making this a super day out.
Our thanks must also go to Trimdon’s players, mum’s and dad’s for making the day possible, they were all superb.
And a special thank you must go to the referee who showed no favour and made the games fun for all.
Training resumes this Saturday 14-Nov. 10am to 11am at Trimdon Community College, Elwick Road, Trimdon Village.
All new players over 4 years old and under 8 years old welcomed to these sessions.
All players old and new please remember to bring your trainers and shin pads for training sessions.

Trimdon United Juniors Under 8s at Newton Aycliffe

The 2008/2009 season ended with an away friendly game against Newton Aycliffe to complete a successful year of football training for the mini tots of Trimdon United FC.
The new training year started again on September 5th 2009 after the summer break and is a new format with the mini tots being split into two groups 4 years to 6 years old and 7 years to 8 years old with regular friendly football matches being organised.
If you or your child are over 4 years old and under 8 years old on August 31st 2009 and would like to try football training come and join in the fun of football in September with the Mini Tots.
Team based at Trimdon Community College, Elwick View, Trimdon Village with training on Saturdays 9.45am to 10.45am . (Other age group teams also run at Trimdon United Juniors )
